About Us
Welcome to MiRANcle – From a Small Village to Your Wardrobe
Our story begins in a quiet countryside village, nestled between rolling hills where life moved with the rhythm of the seasons. My mother, Lianna, grew up here, in a family of shepherds. It was a life centered around the flock—shearing wool in the spring, spinning it through the summer, and knitting warm clothing for the colder months.
A Family Craft
Lianna wasn’t just a shepherd; she was the village’s go-to craftswoman. Families would bring her wool, freshly sheared, and she would turn it into yarn. Her evenings were spent beside the fire, knitting sweaters and scarves for the locals. Her work wasn’t fancy, but it was thoughtful—practical garments made to last, stitched with care and attention to detail.
As a child, I remember watching her nimble fingers loop yarn over the needles. She’d often hum as she worked, explaining how every stitch needed to be firm but not too tight, how good wool “breathed” and made all the difference in warmth and comfort.
Bringing the Village to the World
As I grew older and moved away, I took these lessons with me. I noticed how the world seemed to favor mass production, where clothes were made to be thrown away instead of cherished. I missed the way my mother’s sweaters made people feel—wrapped in warmth, knowing someone cared enough to make something that lasted.
MiRANcle was born from a desire to bring that feeling to more people. Inspired by my mother’s craft and the values of our village, I wanted to create clothing that wasn’t just functional but meaningful.
What We Make
Our collection isn’t about luxury—it’s about practicality, comfort, and connection. We work with wool sourced from ethical, small-scale farms and collaborate with local craftspeople who share our dedication to quality. Each piece is made with care, just like the sweaters my mother used to knit.
Our sweaters, scarves, and other wool garments are simple, versatile, and designed for real life. They’re the kind of pieces you can wear on a crisp autumn walk, during a cozy evening at home, or to stay warm while running errands in winter.
Staying True to Our Roots
At MiRANcle, we don’t claim to be perfect, but we do strive to be thoughtful. Our commitment is to:
- Honest Craftsmanship: Practical, well-made clothing that feels good to wear.
- Sustainability: Sourcing responsibly and avoiding wasteful practices.
- Connection: Making garments that carry a sense of care and tradition.
Why “MiRANcle”?
The name is a nod to my mother’s persistence and ingenuity. Growing up in a village where resources were limited, she always found a way to make things work—to fix, to mend, to create something out of almost nothing. It’s a reminder that even simple things, made with care, can feel miraculous.
Join the MiRANcle Journey
Today, MiRANcle carries forward the spirit of that little village—practical, heartfelt, and rooted in tradition. When you wear one of our pieces, you’re not just wearing wool; you’re wearing a part of our story.
Thank you for letting us share it with you.
